Christopher Male

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Chris Male is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AIF, where he leads the firm’s operations and oversees its investments. He served on the boards of Joshin and SpectrumAi until their recent exit. With over a dozen years of experience in venture and middle-market equity financing, Chris has extensive expertise in sourcing, structuring, and negotiating transactions across technology, healthcare, business services, and impact sectors. He also works closely with management teams to execute value-creation strategies and drive sustainable growth.

At AIF, Chris directs the firm’s deal-sourcing efforts and has played a pivotal role in identifying and advancing nearly all investments made from Fund I. Post-investment, he remains actively engaged in supporting AIF’s tech-enabled and care-delivery portfolio companies while fostering strategic collaborations with organizations such as the Jonathan’s Landing Foundation and the Frist Center for Autism and Innovation, where he serves as a board member.

Before founding AIF, Chris was Managing Director of RBG Capital LLC, a family office, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and negotiating transactions, as well as supporting portfolio management teams in executing value-creation strategies. He also co-founded Anslinger Capital in 2014, a pioneering investment vehicle in the legal cannabis sector that later merged with Hypur Ventures in 2016 and is now fully deployed and delivering returns to investors. Earlier in his career, Chris served as a Manager in Hyatt Hotels’ Global Real Estate & Development Finance group, where he gained experience in real estate and financial strategy.

Chris’ commitment to improving outcomes for individuals with autism stems from personal experience. His youngest child, Duke, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, inspiring Chris to drive systemic change and create impactful solutions for individuals with autism and their families.

Chris holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategy from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management and a B.A. in History and Economics from Denison University. He resides in Winter Park, Florida, with his wife and three children.
