Robbie Allen, Operating Partner, brings over 25 years of experience in clinical services and healthcare operations. He supports AIF portfolio companies with strategic guidance, operational insight, and industry relationships, and contributes to the investment team’s diligence efforts with deep sector expertise. He also serves as CEO of US Heart and Vascular, a leading cardiology platform focused on clinical innovation and value-based specialty care. Additionally, Robbie is Chairperson of the Board at Healios, one of AIF’s portfolio companies and a prominent provider of digitally enabled mental health and autism assessment services in the UK.
Prior to his role at US Heart and Vascular, Robbie served as CEO of One GI, where he led growth initiatives, driving revenue up by 800% to $400 million. His leadership at One GI included developing a sustainable program focused on income repair and value creation, aligning closely with clinical providers. Earlier, as CEO of Envision Orthopedics, he managed operations for all ambulatory surgical centers within the network, enhancing service quality and expanding the organization’s reach.
In the early stages of his career, Robbie founded Neuromatrix, a provider of complex telemetry services, which was later acquired by Specialty Care. His extensive background in healthcare management and his strategic vision have established him as a leader in advancing patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Robbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an MBA in Finance from Kennesaw State University. He also studied Chemical and Polymer Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he passed the EIT exam before transitioning into his entrepreneurial career.
